Meet Debbie

Hi, I’m Debbie.  I have completed APPI Pilates Matwork levels 1 and 2, and have been teaching Pilates classes in the NHS as well as for LC PhysiotheraPilates. I have been a Chartered HPC Registered Physiotherapist since 2009 and have worked in the Musculoskeletal field in Aberdeen for the last 5 years.

Being from a sporting background myself I strongly support the importance of strength and conditioning to prevent injuries and to compliment performance, not just sporting but everyday activity.

Pilates based exercise is a great method to improve strength of appropriate muscle groups and I use Pilates regularly as part of my Physiotherapy practice.

I have competed in Triathlon for 11 years from Sprint to Extreme Ironman distance and represented GBR at age group level sprint distance 2010 and 2018.  Pilates conditioning has been influential in assisting me to get to the start line and I would recommend it as a regular exercise routine.

Debbie teaches our NEW Thursday night Midmar class, 5.45-6.45pm.  This class is suitable for beginners/intermediate level.
