Laura is an exam certified Pilates matwork instructor, trained through the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI). The APPI pioneered a series of ‘modified’ pilates exercise, designed to be enjoyed by everyone, including those with musculoskeletal, spinal and neurological conditions.

By attending a Pilates class taught by a physiotherapist, you can rest assured that you are carrying out exercises correctly.  The instructors provide individual correction where required within the classes, and modify exercises for each individual within the class. In our physiotherapist led Pilates classes, the focus is on quality of the exercise rather than quantity.  This makes sure that you gain the maximum benefit from Pilates and that you are undertaking the exercises safely.
